Semi-Finalist in International Songwriting Competition

Yes, you read that correctly. I just found out that my song “Come Down” was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2014 International Songwriting Competition (ISC) in the Folk/Singer-Songwriter category.

That means that out of the 18,000 entries ISC received from around the world this past year, my song ranked in the top 10%. Crazy awesome.

Finalists will be announced soon. And if my song makes it to that round, it will be part of the final group of judges – which includes songwriting royalty like Sarah McLachlan and other amazing artists like her.

Goodness, I’m excited!
